This is an overview of research conducted by UVM faculty on various refugee-related topics. The UVM Refugee Research Network is a loose affiliation of a number of these faculty and this online portal is meant to give a brief overview of the research, teaching and community-based work carried out by a number of the various members. Each of the faculty members provided responses to a series of questions and interviews on their work, their interest in refugee issues, and their background. Each of the faculty members brings a unique perspective and approach to working with refugees or on forced migration issues, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of understanding and addressing refugee issues. These preliminary profiles are based on interviews conducted over the course of the 2016-17 academic year and we will be adding more profiles as the network continues to grow.
